Itinerant Productions creates unique audio soundscapes and tracks for cinema, streaming, gaming, advertising and media more widely.

The outfit writes, performs and produces each piece of music.

We want listeners to feeling emotionally engaged when they hear and feel our material, from start to finish, through silent pauses to dramatic flourishes.

The material of Itinerant Productions spans the breadth of enticing melodies, charismatic chord progressions, pulsating beats with edgy and contemporary sounds and arrangements.

Our tracks are suitable for a wide range of genres including drama, science fiction, action, crime, romance and thrillers. They reflect feelings of love, despair, sadness, fantasy, darkness, light and the many moods and nuances of the human experience.

The itinerant name is because the members are nomadic and restless, not tied down to a geographical location, they move around the world, seamlessly connected by digital technologies and a shared passion for the sounds they love developing.

The outfit comprise Trevor O’Neil (TKO) and his sons Nelson O’Neil (NO) and Luke O’Neil (LBO) as the core unit with talented collaborators introduced to bolster the overall Production. 

Trevor played with The Hip Singles (NZ - 81/82), 21 Faces (Sydney - 83-85), Ups and Downs (86-91) and also wrote songs/produced with the Domino Theory, Captain Cocoa and Alpine Jubilee.  Luke is a youthful and talented jazz piano player who was selected 3 years in a row with the Queensland Government’s Creative Generation (CGEN) Big Band as well as the MOST program (Musically Outstanding Students) which gave him a taste of playing professionally and performing on a concert stage.  Nelson is a gifted maker of beats and sounds, he loves hip hop, trap and electronic music and has shared his tracks widely online to positive acclaim.  

Itinerant Production collaborators include Peter Shaw (Ups and Downs) on guitars and keyboards, Miss Parker on vocals and vibes, Stu Storm (Hip Singles, An Affair, Domino Theory) on synthesizers, samples, beats and production.
